One of the most important things I can do as a leader at the Middle School and as a Director of School Improvement at the 7-12 level is cultivate an environment of learning for staff members through collaboration, discussion, and observation. As a leader, I know that success is only possible when all staff members, students and community members feel a shared responsibility for helping students grow and learn. Below are several documents I have used, and had learning around when it comes to engaging in professional learning and conversations with staff. I also have experience with using the DISC personality assessment which helped staff members in my last district to begin to communicate with one another more effectively.
